Arc’teryx Equipment has released the official national team uniforms for the Canadian climbing team and climbers of Escalade Canada (CEC) for all international competitions. In March 2021, she signed a multi-year agreement with CEC to support competitive climbing at the national level.
Arc’teryx will offer travel, warm-up, and competition apparel. The uniforms have been tested and validated by Canadian climbing athletes Alannah Yip and Sean McColl.
The complete range includes belts, chalk bags, shorts, tops, pants, hoodies and travel bags. Some of the products have been custom built, while other pieces come from Arc’teryx inline styles with materials, fit and features redesigned for the needs of competitive climbing and athletes.
The national team’s black jerseys are used in World Cup competition. The red and white competition uniforms are used by Alannah Yip and Sean McColl at the Tokyo Olympics, where sport climbing celebrates its Olympic premiere.
