Jim’s First Alert Forecast: Clouds departing; Temps climbing

Forecast discussion: clouds will last until Tuesday morning and one or two clouds are possible. For the rest of the week, however, an overall dry and sunny pattern will set in. The temperatures remain consistently above average; in the 80s instead of the more normal upper 70s expected this time of year. A cold front will come closer when we get into the weekend. Passing this front will drop the highs by a solid ten degrees from Saturday to Sunday, which will make ENC feel much more autumnal. High pressure should then take control and give us nice weather.

The first week of November is where we usually see our first frost of the season. The short-term forecast keeps us well above the frost level.

Morning clouds to afternoon sun. High of 78. Wind: NW 8. Lowest overnight: 62.

Mostly sunny and warmer. High of 81. Wind: North 6. Lowest overnight: 61
