PRINCE FREDRICK, Md. – The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation will host a public forum to receive input on updates to the Calvert County Land Preservation, Parks & Recreation Plan (LPPRP). The public forum will take place as a virtual and personal hybrid meeting on Thursday, October 14th at 7 p.m. Interested parties can attend the meeting virtually or in person by registering online at www.CalvertCountyMd.gov/LPPRP. The face-to-face meeting will take place at the Harriet E. Brown Community Center at 901 Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick.
The Calvert County LPPRP will lead land conservation and outdoor recreation development for the next five years. The plan will provide a vision to incorporate the planning of the county amenities, the conservation of natural resources, the use of recreational and open spaces. The current LPPRP and additional information can be viewed online at www.CalvertCountyMd.gov/LPPRP.
