The Mercedes-Benz Citan only recently hit the market, but the company has already revealed a camping-friendly upgrade for it.
The aftermarket trunk box comes from the campervan specialist VanEssa, weighs 60 kg (132 lbs) and will be available in different colors when it is launched. It consists of a frame and several drawers that are suitable for storing kitchen utensils and other things.
Other options include a sink, hob, refrigerator, and modest fresh water tank. There’s also a fairly large fold-away bed (189 x 115 cm) that folds up under the kitchenette when not in use and folds over the rear seats for a bit more comfort.
